Jungle Cruise might be my new favorite Disney movie of all time. Bold statement, right? I’m being completely serious, though.

Lake and I met my mom and dad (Betty and David Clemmons) to see Jungle Cruise at the theater on a quiet Monday night. We didn’t take River with us to see it because the last time we took him to see a live-action movie, he immediately got bored and was generally unmanageable for the whole thing.

The four of us found the movie to be completely delightful, especially enjoying the nods to the Jungle Cruise ride. If you know, you know.

The story’s plot was great, the characters all had fabulous on-screen chemistry. It was visually stunning. I laughed out loud, I cried, and I fretted over the fate of the characters from beginning to end.

It was adventurous, thrilling, romantic, and an all-around good time.

Jungle Cruise was so good, in fact, that we came home and immediately purchased Jungle Cruise on Disney+. We watched it over again when we got home, and have watched it almost once a day every day since.

We let River watch it at home after we bought it on Disney+, and he loved it too!

It’s a new favorite for our whole family. I’ll talk in more detail in future posts, after more people have had a chance to watch it.

Overall, Jungle Cruise is a 10/10, and we highly recommend it.
