I never really intended to be a “housewife,” as it were. It was not part of the plan, but I’ve been a terrible one ever since I got laid off in January. I am a genuinely disorganized, chaotic person, and I’m afraid it’s showing in my housekeeping skills…or lack thereof. Everything is in varying states of complete and utter chaos.
So, I’ve got this plan to put my house right a bit at a time. I’ll be relying on tips I heard from my grandmothers growing up, tips I read in The Modern Girl’s Guide to Life, tips I pick up in magazines, and the like.
In other news, I’m also doing the 21 Day Fix, and will be sharing my struggles, progress, etc. on here. I will also be reviewing the recipes in the Fixate cookbook by Autumn Calabrese, which she designed to go along with the 21 Day Fix.
So…it’s five years later and I am STILL riding this struggle bus. I’m ADHD, constantly tired, and haven’t found anything that makes housekeeping streamlined and easy. I just…want to get miraculously rich so I can pay a housekeeper because trying to keep a house clean and running properly is hard, and it kind of sucks.
