For some reason, I always feel a little strange talking about my other projects outside this blog, but I had a realization today. This is MY personal blog, so it’s okay if I share about any part of my life that’s important to me and on my mind. There used to be some people in my life who hated it when I discussed my passions or shared about my writing. Those people are no longer in my life, so I don’t have to censor myself on my personal blog (or any of my social media) anymore, and that feels AMAZING.

So today, I wanted to share one of my recent achievements with y’all, and it’s something I’m very excited about/proud of. I wrote and published a 50,000+ word romantic suspense novel and published it as a serial on Kindle Vella. The first three episodes are free, and the story is complete!

Want to hear a little more about Escaping Her Past? Here’s the description:

Can she escape her past? Clare Daniels needs a new life, as far away as she can get from the controlling fiance she’s leaving. If she played her cards right, Misty Creek, Alabama, should be the last place in the world Lance would think to look for a city girl like her. Jason Rogers, Misty Creek’s most eligible bachelor and a martial arts instructor, has been going through the motions ever since his ex dumped him, but things change when his sister’s new coworker needs self-defense lessons.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This story just keeps getting better and better with each chapter. I love the push-pull of the main characters and the secondary characters are becoming a favorite too. Nothing better than a hero to root for and a villain to hate.

Lasha - Amazon Reviewer

I’ve been a passionate romance reader for as long as I can remember, and romantic suspense is my favorite genre to read. So, naturally, romantic suspense is my passion project as far as writing goes, too.

Don’t get me wrong, I love all my pen names equally and they all have their place, but I’ve been dreaming of publishing romantic suspense novels under my own name for years. One day, I’d like to write for Harlequin’s Intrigue imprint, but for now I’m very happy with being an indie author and publishing through Kindle Vella and Kindle Direct Publishing.

If you read Escaping Her Past and enjoy it, let me know! I’d love to write more romantic suspense, and plan to continue the Misty Creek Security series on Kindle Vella soon.
