This show exceeded every expectation we had coming into it. Granted, neither one of us has read any of the Jack Reacher books yet, but after watching season 1 of the show, I’ll definitely be checking the books out now. I didn’t like the Jack Reacher movie I saw with Tom Cruise in it a few years ago NEARLY as much as I liked this show.

We set out with the intention of watching one episode a night of this show, but we failed spectacularly on that font. We watched two episodes the first night, then six more episodes the second night to finish out season 1 in a total of two days. 😂

Chelsea’s Favorite Things About This Show: Hands-down, my #1 favorite thing about this show was Alan Ritchson’s deadpan delivery of Reacher’s dry humor. He’d deliver his humorous lines, and I would absolutely CACKLE at them. All-in-all, Reacher’s humor GOT me. Like, I loved the suspense, the plot, the characters, the chemistry, the writing… I loved EVERYTHING about this show, but Alan’s delivery of Reacher’s funny lines is my favorite thing. It was just perfect, to me. Hit my funny bone dead-on every single episode, and those moments of levity are so necessary in a show that’s this dramatic, hard-hitting, and fast-paced.
